A best friend
We met in our early days of or childhood. Her dark chocolaty eyes staring at me, her tiny, red lips grinning with satisfaction. Dimples shone upon her face along with her smile. She had shiny white teeth which were quite small. The young lady’s face was round with a fair complexion with eyes that were water blue and lashes long. The girl who stood before me was short and a little on the chubby side. Her black hair tied up in pig tails with a trace of auburn which dangled along her head as she set foot on the ground. I stood there apprehensively as she strolled towards me. The girl walked as if an angel came straight from heaven. As proceeded forward I noticed her nose was pointy. She presented herself as Jocelyn acknowledging how radiant her voice sounded. Though short, somehow she was taller to me. Her accent proved that she was of Indian origin. The very same day we became best of friends. Each day didn’t go without her company by my side. As days passed by I realized how kind and helpful she was among her peers. Jocelyn was a knowledgeable dancer as well as a singer. In addition to being a dancer and singer she cherished swimming. She was a book nerd which resulted her in getting four eyes. On her forehead was a bindi which made her look godly with her appearance. As a child Jocelyn was born in US near the coast which were usually sunny resulted in her getting freckles. Jocelyn was the first friend I had ever made who has been with, is with me and hope will remain with me.
